Target: Channels using two or more Channel Talk phone numbers
We’d like to inform you of an upcoming change to how outbound numbers are saved when making callback calls.
◼︎ Effective Date
February 13, 2026 (Fri)
◼︎ What’s Changing
Previously, when making a callback from a specific call screen, the number used for that call would also update the default outbound number setting.
With this update, making a callback will no longer affect your default outbound number setting.
However, when placing a call from the general dial screen or the customer profile section, the most recently used outbound number will continue to be saved as the default, as before.
◼︎ Reason for the Change
This improvement is intended to prevent situations where the next call is placed from an unintended number after making a callback.
