[Notice] Issue with Scheduled Marketing Messages and Chat-Related Features (Aug. 31, 2026)

Impacted channels: Channels that sent marketing messages or used chat-related scheduling features after 8:00 PM on Aug. 31, 2026 (Mon)

From 8:00 PM on Aug. 31, 2026 (Mon), some scheduled tasks—including marketing message delivery and chat status changes—did not execute as expected. The issue has now been resolved, and all features are operating normally.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Below, we’ve outlined what happened and the actions Channel Talk has taken. As some features scheduled during the affected period were not executed, please review the information below and take any necessary action.

Aug. 31, 2026 (Mon), 8:00 PM – Sep. 1, 2026 (Tue), 4:00 PM

Due to an issue with some servers during a service improvement process, certain scheduled tasks did not execute properly.

  • Some one-time messages were not sent.

  • Some campaign messages were not sent.

※ You will not be charged for messages that were not sent.

One-time messages

  • Messages scheduled or newly sent after 4:00 PM on Sep. 1 (Tue) are being delivered normally.

  • Channel Talk canceled messages that failed to send during the affected period. This was done to prevent messages from being sent all at once after the issue was resolved, which could have resulted in messages being delivered at an unintended time or duplicated if you had already resent them.

  • Canceled messages will appear as “Sent” in the Marketing screen, with the number of sent messages displayed as “-”.

Campaigns

  • Campaign messages have been sending normally since 4:00 PM on Sep. 1 (Tue).

One-time messages: If you need to send a canceled message with the same content, please create and send a new message. You can also duplicate the existing marketing message and send it again.

Campaigns: Campaign messages that failed to send during the affected period will not be automatically resent. If you need to send them to the affected customers, you can duplicate the existing marketing message and send it again.

How to duplicate a marketing message: Go to the Marketing details screen → Click “Duplicate” in the top-right corner to create a draft with the same content.

Resuming pending chats: Chats that were scheduled to resume during the affected period were not automatically resumed. As of Sep. 2 (Wed), chats that are still pending will be resumed in bulk by Channel Talk between approximately 2:00–3:00 PM on Sep. 2. If you need to resume a chat before then, you can do so manually.

Email reminders, scheduled Do Not Disturb cancellations, etc.: Tasks that were not executed during the affected period will not be automatically retried. If necessary, please check your settings and schedule them again manually.
