On March 19, 2026, we will release a new feature that allows team members to edit their own messages. Edited messages will be marked with “(edited)”.
The message editing feature will work normally in mobile environments (iOS / Android / React Native) as well.
However, to ensure that the “(edited)” label is displayed correctly, we recommend updating your SDK to the following versions or later.
◼︎ Recommended SDK versions
iOS: v13.1.0 or later
Android: v13.3.0 or later
React Native: v0.12.8 or later
◼︎ If the SDK is not updated
The message editing feature itself will still function on all SDK versions. However, the “(edited)” label will not appear, which may make it difficult for customers and internal team members to recognize that a message has been edited.
