[Notice] Request to Update Permissions for Using the Shopify Hub 'Change Delivery Address' Feature

  • Target: Customers using the Shopify Hub and the Change Delivery Address command

Starting July 3, 2025, an additional permission update will be required to continue using the Shopify Hub and Change Delivery Address command smoothly. Please follow the instructions below to complete the necessary steps.

Details of the Update

  • Effective Date: Thursday, July 3, 2025

  • What’s Changing: To allow customers to change delivery addresses via the command, you’ll need to update the Channel Talk app permissions in your Shopify admin page.

  • Impact if No Action is Taken: If you do not complete this update by July 3, you will no longer be able to use the Shopify Change Delivery Address command.

How to Update:Go to [Shopify Admin Page] → [Settings] → [Apps and sales channels] → Click [Channel.io]

  1. Click [Open app] in the top right corner.

  1. Review the Update data access request and click [Update].

Once the permission update is complete, you’ll be able to use the Change Delivery Address command as usual.
