Facebook Messenger

Manage messages sent to your Facebook Page directly from your Channel Talk inbox.

By connecting Facebook Messenger to Channel Talk, you can view and reply to messages customers send to your Facebook Page without leaving Channel Talk. Keep all customer conversations in one place and manage them more efficiently.

To connect Facebook Messenger, you'll need:

  • A Facebook Business Account

  • A Facebook Page

If you don't already have these set up, please create them before starting the integration.

For more information, refer to Facebook's setup guide.

  1. Go to [Channel Settings] → [Integrations] → [App Store] → [Facebook Messenger].

  2. Click Install in the upper-right corner.

  3. Click Log in with Facebook and sign in to your Facebook account.

  1. Log in with the Facebook account you want to use for the integration.

  2. Select the Facebook Page you want to connect.

  3. Select the Facebook Business Account associated with the Page.

  4. Review and approve the requested permissions.

  5. Once Facebook login and page authorization are complete, click Confirm to return to Channel Talk.

  6. Select the Page you want to connect to Channel Talk.

  7. Click Connect to complete the setup.

Once connected, messages sent to your Facebook Page will appear in your Channel Talk inbox. Conversations from Facebook Messenger can be identified by the Facebook Messenger icon next to the customer's name.

You can connect and manage multiple Facebook Pages in Channel Talk, including:

  • Pages under the same Facebook Business Account

  • Pages under different Facebook Business Accounts

When multiple Pages are connected, you can identify which Page a conversation came from by checking the Sender Information section in the conversation details panel on the right side of the inbox.

  1. Find the connected Facebook Page in the Facebook Messenger app settings.

  2. Click the trash can icon next to the Page name.
