The IP Address Restriction is a security feature available as an add-on with the Enterprise Plan. To enable it, you will need to purchase the Security Package separately in advance.
With IP Address Restriction enabled, only users accessing the channel from permitted IP addresses will be allowed in. This helps block unauthorized access and improves security by limiting access to trusted networks.
You can register up to 50 IP addresses
Supports both single IPv4 and CIDR notation
You can set permitted IP addresses by channel and by role
The feature can be turned on/off with a toggle
It applies to all users in the channel, regardless of ownership
If a user tries to access the channel from a non-permitted IP, access will be immediately blocked, so please use with caution
When the feature is turned on, IP validation happens in two steps:
Allowed IP Addresses for Channel
Allowed IP Addresses by Role
If no IP is registered at the channel level, the channel check is skipped
Users must pass both checks to access the channel
⚠ You will see a warning icon if a role-based permitted IP is not included in the channel-level permitted IP list.To fix this, please make sure that each role-based IP falls within the range of the channel-level IPs.
You can add IPs using either single IPv4 or CIDR format(→ Learn more about CIDR)
While IP Address Restriction is enabled, at least one allowed IP address must be registered
