You can click on each handling funnel and instantly view the list of chats within that funnel.

You can also see which knowledge articles and tasks are referenced most. This update is especially helpful if you want deeper insight into chat flows using ALF Statistics.

Important Notes

  • To improve accuracy and consistency, the criteria for ALF Statistics will change from chat creation time (createdAt) to engagement start time (managedAt).

Brand Messages (formerly FriendTalk) can now be sent to a broader audience.

Previously, messages could only be sent to customers who were both Kakao channel followers (friends) and opted into marketing (Type I). Now, you can also send messages to customers who have opted into marketing but are not Kakao channel followers (Type N).

Please Note

Targeting non-followers (Type N) is available only for channels that:

  • Have 50,000+ Kakao channel followers, and

  • Have completed marketing terms submission

  • Type N customers: Not Kakao channel followers, but opted into marketing

  • Type I customers: Kakao channel followers who opted into marketing

  • If you already use Brand Messages, this feature becomes available after additional approval

  • Messages sent to non-followers incur a 20 KRW (PU) delivery cost per message, regardless of message type

Common requests like “Cancel my order,” “Where is my order?” or “I want to return this” can now be handled automatically by ALF.

If you use Cafe24, you can apply task automation instantly, no custom task development required.

How to Set Up

  1. Install the Cafe24 Hub app from [Channel Settings → Integrations → App Store]

  2. In the Cafe24 Hub app, select [WMS] based on whether you use Sellmate

  3. Go to [AI Menu → Tasks → Cafe24 Hub folder → Order Lookup / Order Cancellation / Order Return → ⋯ → Publish]

The left-hand menu has been reorganized to better match actual usage flows.There are no feature changes, only menu positions have changed.

After:Team Chat → Inbox → AI → Contacts → Operations → Documents → Marketing → Phone → ALF Team

The term “Manager” may imply administrative authority, so it has been updated to the more globally used term “Team Member.”Only the name changes, features remain the same.

[AI] Advanced Controls for Website Knowledge Sources

Release date: 2025-12-23When registering website knowledge, you can now use advanced settings such as included URLs, excluded URLs, and page element selection for more precise control. (→ Learn more)

[AI] Rules Are Now Applied During Knowledge Search

Release date: 2025-12-17

ALF searches knowledge based on extracted keywords. If customer phrasing differs, results may be missed, even if the info exists.

By defining equivalences in Rules (e.g., “MU = Managed User”), ALF can recognize different expressions as the same meaning and search more accurately.

[Mobile] Scheduled Messages Now Available on Mobile

Release date: 2025-12-04You can now schedule messages directly from the Channel Talk mobile app.Scheduled messages can be managed from the Scheduled Messages tab.

[Documents] ALF Supports Multilingual Customers Without Translation

No need to manually translate articles or FAQs. Turn on “Reference All Languages” from [Knowledge → Space → ⋯ (top right)], and ALF will reference Korean documents while responding naturally in the customer’s language. (→ Learn more)

[Inbox] You Can Now Delete Customer Messages

Release date: 2025-12-11

Managers with Permanent Chat Deletion permission can now delete messages sent by customers. This helps securely remove sensitive information such as ID numbers or card details.

[Messages] Encoded URLs Are Now Displayed Clearly

URLs in messages are now shown in a readable format instead of percent-encoded strings.

[Meet] Faster Video Call Access

Release date: 2025-12-19

Click the Meet icon in group chats or next to a team member to start a video call instantly. 1:1 calls are also available from

[Channel Settings → Team Setup → Team Members].

[Meet] Real-Time Call Transcription (Coming January 2026)

You no longer need to wait until a call ends. Conversation content is transcribed in real time during the call. Available on PC only.
